Marist-Sion College recognises and acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which our school stands, the sky above us, and its surrounding waterways. We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Kurnai Elders past and present and with them we celebrate a unique living culture that continues to this day.
We pray that their spiritual attachment to the land might inspire us to treat it with respect and encourage us to seek God’s presence in all parts of our lives.
We commit to working with our First Peoples to move forward in a spirit of reconciliation.
