College Organisation Administrator

Full time | On-going

 

 

We seek a motivated Director of College Organisation responsible for the day-to-day organisation, and long-term planning, within the College.

As a member of the College Management Team, the College Organisation Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day organisation, development, implementation and long-term planning, of College Timetables and daily class replacements within the College, with a focus on student continuity of learning. The College Organisation Administrator will be fully understanding of Child Safety requirements at the College, and will ensure that College organisation promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • A qualification in Administration or related area, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of Certificate 2 in First aid is essential (the College will provide this training if necessary).

Administration Manager

We seek a motivated Administration Manager to oversee the operation of College Reception.

The Administration Manager is the key contact person for Administration and is responsible for the provision of high quality service, administrative and secretarial support. Overseeing the operation of College Reception they are required to display a high level of professionalism, leadership and directional focus for all assigned administrative tasks of the College Administration Team.

Education and Experience 

  • A qualification in Administration or related area, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Successful Team Management experience.

College Cafe Manager

We seek a motivated College Cafe Manager to manage the operation of our College Cafe.

The College Café Manager is responsible for the effective management and operation of the College Café in line with the Dietary Guidelines for Children and Adolescents in Australia and the College vision.

Education and Experience 

  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Food Smart Training or willing to obtain.
  • Experience in the provision of catering for events and/or barista experience highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and stock control.
  • A minimum of Certificate 2 in First aid is essential (the College will provide this training if necessary).

Administration Support Officer – Careers and Pathways

We seek a motivated Administration Support Officer – Careers and Pathways to provide administrative support to the Careers and Pathways Team.

The Administration Support Officer – Careers and Pathways provides practical and administrative support to the Careers and Pathways Team, in order to ensure that it is operated in a most productive, efficient and effective manner in the best interests of the College’s educational requirements and objectives.

Education and Experience 

Essential:

  • A qualification in Office Administration or related area, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of Certificate 2 in First Aid is essential (the College will provide this training if necessary).

Desirable:

  • Specific knowledge of the College software packages including SIMON, VASS and Synergetic.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of working with Computer Technology in an education environment.
  • Experience working in a Secondary School environment.
  • Experience working within the VET/TAFE sector.

Casual Learning Support Officers

Positions available throughout 2023

 

Marist-Sion College seeks innovative Casual Learning Support Officer to be available when required at various stages throughout 2023.

The Learning Support Officer works as part of a holistic team consisting of the Learning Adjustment Leader, members of the Learning Support Team, students and families. The aim is to assist the Subject Teachers with the role of educating children with special learning needs. Learning Support Officers work under the supervision of the Learning Adjustment Leader who has the responsibility for the design, implementation and evaluation of education programs and related services.
