Head of House (POL2)

The Head of House is responsible for the wellbeing and the fostering of positive relationships of students in their House. In partnership with the Tutor Teachers, they oversee the efficient leadership, organisation, management and wellbeing of all members of a House.

A full time ongoing teacher contract will be offered with this appointment. The position of leadership is offered as a fixed term for 1 year with the view to apply for a further 3 years tenure at the end of 2024.

The Head of House works professionally and cooperatively with the Student Wellbeing Team and engenders House Spirit, student connectedness and belonging. Promoting a spirit of mutual support and responsibility the Head of House has a broad responsibility for overseeing House specific programs, events and experiences.

Instrumental Music Instructors

Marist-Sion is an inclusive Catholic co-educational secondary College with 1077 students, 100 km south-east from Melbourne accessible directly from the M1 Freeway.

Our College is offering a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Instrumental Music Instructor to become a part of our team in 2024.

Our instructors provide independent lessons to students learning an instrument. These can include, though not limited to, flute, drums, guitar, piano and voice.

Marist-Sion College Learning Support Officers work as part of a holistic team consisting of the Learning Adjustment Leader, members of the Learning Support Team, students and families. The aim is to assist the Subject Teachers with the role of educating students who benefit from adjusted learning programs. Learning Support Officers work under the supervision and support of the Learning Adjustment Leader who has the responsibility for the design, implementation and evaluation of education programs for the Learning Adjustment Team.
