Discovery Evening

Begin the Journey to Year 7 at Marist-Sion College

Choosing the right secondary school for your child is an important decision for every family. It’s a time to consider not only academic opportunities, but also the environment where your child will grow in confidence, discover their interests, and feel a strong sense of belonging.

At Marist-Sion College, we partner with families to support students as they begin their secondary school journey. Our community is committed to nurturing the academic, social, and personal development of every young person, ensuring each student is known, supported, and encouraged to achieve their best.

We invite you and your family to attend our Discovery Evening and learn more about the journey that begins in Year 7.

This informative evening provides an opportunity to meet our students and staff, learn more about the programs and opportunities available at the College, and experience our faith-filled community where every student is known and loved.

We look forward to welcoming you to Marist-Sion College.

*Please note that College tours are not offered during our Discovery Evening. Families are invited to attend one of our College Talk and Tours, a chance to learn more about life at Marist-Sion College and see our classrooms and learning environment in action during a normal school day.

Talk and Tours

Our Talk and Tours offer families a welcoming opportunity to learn more about life at Marist-Sion College and experience the spirit of our community.

During your visit, you will meet with our College Principal or a member of the Executive Team, who will share an overview of the College’s vision, values, and approach to learning and student wellbeing. This is a valuable opportunity to hear about what makes Marist-Sion College unique and how we support students throughout their secondary school journey.

Families will then enjoy a guided tour of the College led by our Year 10 Student Ambassadors. Our ambassadors take great pride in sharing their experiences of life at Marist-Sion and providing insight into the opportunities available to students across academic, co-curricular, and community life.

You will also have the opportunity to speak with our College Registrar, who can provide information about the enrolment process and answer any questions you may have about applying to the College.

Talk and Tours commence from the College Chapel and run for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
