College Advisory Committee
The College Advisory Committee provides valued advice to the Principal in support of the strategic direction and mission of Marist-Sion College.
Marist-Sion College is owned and operated by Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL), which is the governing authority. The Principal is responsible for the leadership and day to day management of the College under this authority.
The College Advisory Committee operates as the principal consultative body to the Principal. It provides advice on strategic matters including school improvement, student wellbeing, community engagement and future planning. The Committee does not have decision making or operational responsibilities.
Guided by principles of partnership, participation and shared responsibility, the Committee supports the mission of Catholic education by strengthening connections between the College, parish and wider community. It provides a forum for discussion, encourages engagement and contributes to the ongoing development of the College in line with its vision and values.
Membership includes parent representatives, parish members and individuals with relevant experience who are committed to the life of the College. The Committee meets regularly throughout the year.
Participation in the College Advisory Committee offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the direction and future of the College.
